~Death Note~
2006-10-25 | 1:13 a.m.

Mole (the name has been protected, but I think all vsians of my level will know)
Ex-principal. On 31 October, at 11.55am, will take a walk to the school labs, and notice a gas leak. Attempts to turn off the gas. As it was dark in the labs, panicked and lit a match for light. Blew apart the lab, and suffered 3rd degree burns on his skin. Tries to put out the fire with water, but instead got sprayed by the water on himself on his raw skin. Lighting fails and electrical wires fall from the ceiling electrocuting him, making him barely alive. The ceiling collapse on him, and paralyses his lower half, making him impotent. On the way to the hospital, the paramedics mix up the anesthetic for laxative, and he shits to death.

LOL. Imagine the power u wield when u have a death note. Imagine that life is just (quoted from wh) hanging on a string, and you have the scissors to end them. Will you want that power? Will u use that power to kill? Who determines who deserves to be killed? Is it the law? However the law was written by man, so how do we know that what is written is correct?

Death note really brings up lots of debates. Can we treat life as just a trivial matter? When we possess the death note, does it make us god? Just because we can determine the lives of others, does it mean we can use it to our cause? Take light for example, he says he is justice. He wants to cleanse of the world of evil, by killing evil. True, it makes sense by getting rid of evil, but no one was evil in the first place. A baby was not born evil, the baby just happened to be born into a wrong family, and was brought up with the wrong ideologies and morals. That makes the same for the criminals. They were not evil at heart, they are just misguided souls looking for a place of their own, and they happen to be in the wrong company when they made their home.

Hence, I really do not believe in killing as a part of cleansing evil. Only beings with a lack of conscience and ethnics and morals will think that by killing and getting rid of evil, there will be no evil. Wrong. Its only the fear of death that really prevents evil. But when that fear is gone, evil will prevail again. So, does it really remove the cause of evil? No. The only thing killing does is to postpone evil. The only time there is no evil is when everyone is killed. But doesn’t that defeat the purpose of life? We live to live. We are all equal, be it an Indian, Malay, Chinese or European. Does it make sense to kill everyone in order to rid of evil, and have no one left to carry on the human race? I think I’m getting out of point. Lol.

So anyway, I know myself. I know I will abuse the power. I am power hungry. But I also know that I will not be able to kill, and if I were to kill, I will go mad from my conscience. Hell, I get bugged by conscience for just scolding someone. Lol. I really hate evil. But I do not see the moral in killing to get rid of evil, as only the evil stoop so low to kill evil. Just like humans, who kill their own kind. Only humans kill each other for the fun of it. Start a war and there you have it, deaths and massacres. So much for being the most intelligent race on earth. So. I beg u people, love life. Cherish every living thing, except maybe cockroaches and rodents. Muahahaha. Enjoy ur night. =P
